There is one very basic trait that ties Amy Jordan’s efforts together. It is HEART.

Ms. Jordan is an Award-Winning author, speaker, coach, and choreographer.

Amy infuses her dramatic and seemingly impassable personal experiences to motivate and inspire anyone around her.

She has challenged and triumphed over life and death obstacles and utilizing her own proven system has emerged victorious.

Amy has been living with Type 1 diabetes for over 47 years.  She admits life with a difficult to manage chronic conditions has made her more patient, resilient, and self-aware.

In 2009 life threw Amy Jordan another opportunity to transform trauma into triumph.  While crossing the street she was hit and run over by a 15-ton New York City express bus.  A lifelong dancer and athlete, Jordan was told she may never walk again.  Her right leg was crushed, nearly amputated, and literally rebuilt.

Amy triumphed over tragedy. Not only is she walking she danced again on stage with her professional dance company: “The Victory Dance Project.”

Amy Jordan is on a mission to motivate and inspire others to overcome ANY adversity. She tells everyone she meets, “Please Dance Because You Can.” Amy shares her unique D.A.N.C.E. philosophy in her signature keynote address: ”Dance Because You Can.“ She believes that always focusing on Creating Your own Victory Dance is the key to success in business, leadership, and life!

Amy’s book ‘Dance Because You Can’ 5 Steps to Transform Trauma to Triumph was the winner of the prestigious EVVY award for the best non-fiction book.  Amy Jordan is also the subject of the internationally acclaimed, multi-award-winning documentary feature film: ‘Amy’s Victory Dance.’  The movie is directed by Brian Thomas.  Brian is a two-time Emmy nominee, an award-winning director whose entertainment industry credits include work with Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Beyonce, Liza Minnelli, Pink, and Usher among a long list of industry icons.

Amy has been seen on ABC TV, NY1, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Fortune, CNNMoney, National Endowment for Arts, and America Diabetes Association. Amy’s books: “Dance Because You Can” and “26tips for Easier Living with Diabetes”.

Ms. Jordan is an in-demand motivational speaker who works with organizations, youth groups, corporations, and associations.  She presents both in person and virtually for audiences from 20-20,000+.
